Stackradar 2.0 ❊ A new look, new prospectives and big plans

We got a new do 🪩 clean, structured and made to feel like the place you come to organize, curate and scale your ideas, your work, your anything—with the GOATest tech stack available in 2024. Our new look is driving home the one core principal we follow—less, but better (ty, Dieter Rams).

Stackradar Homepage

When I first built and launched Stackradar, it was because I kept coming across all these incredible tools that not many people seemed to know about. I was planning to work as a tech implementation specialist and needed a directory of vetted tools to refer to.

The more tools I found, the more conversations I had with people about them, the more I realized most people and business—from productivity gurus to your granddad and beauty salons to tech startups—had no idea there was a solution out there to their most complex bottlenecks or elaborate ideas.

Stackradar isn’t about finding your one perfect tool, however. It’s about finding the least number of tools to do the most things. I went on the Wayback Machine for some fun and found our old website—back when we were called The Repository—and boy, oh boy.

The Repository Homepage

In honor of The Repository (which was changed to Stackradar mostly because my non-technical housemates kept saying it reminded them of a suppository¹...) we've introduced Dark Mode, you can toggle the setting from the navbar.

Stackradar 2.0 isn’t just about what we look like. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to bring you a bigger and better platform, and this is just the first of many things we’ll be pushing live over the coming months.

Stackradar and it’s core purpose will always remain free, because not enough stuff is anymore. You may notice a few tools popping up listed as a sponsor—don’t worry, we aren’t opening these spaces up to just anyone. Any sponsored tools or posts you’ll see will still be 100% tested, vetted and approved by us, and will be few and far between—these vetted partnerships will help us grow Stackradar with continued speed and quality.

As a community-first platform, we always want your ideas, thoughts and feedback to help us build something of real value—this form will remain open for as long as Stackradar does.

—to infinity + beyond, Claudia.
