According to this report from Reclaim.ai 64.3% of consultants are burnt out from lack of work-life balance or not having enough time off, 57.1% are burnt out from lack of time for focused work and 64.3% are burnt out from notification and distraction fatigue. That's a lot of burnout.
While consultants are typically considered to be in-the-know on tech tools to improve productivity (and ensure more time-off to avoid burnout) word-of-mouth and resources provided to consultants by firms don't keep up with the incredibly fast-pace of new technologies on the market - particularly tech that serves consultants as much as (or more than) their clients.
